Welcome to UUCA!

We are growing religious community of over 600 members and friends. We celebrate diversity and intentionally seek to engage one another in our full humanness.

Our families are one or two adults, single persons with children, partners with children, grandparents and tribal elders. We are working to make our facilities accessible to people of all abilities. We are people of all colors. We are gay and straight. As an Welcoming Congregation we welcome and celebrate the lives of bisexual, gay, lesbian, and transgender people. We provide programs for children, youth, young adults, college students, parents, mid-lifers and senior citizens.

We accept and engage in many paths to truth. With no fixed creed, our members are free to use reason, experience and wisdom to grow spiritually. Practices of our members may include Christianity, Humanism, Judaism, Taoism, Earth-Centered Spirituality, Mindfulness, and Theism. We strive to create an environment that challenges, encourages and supports the individual quest for religious fulfillment.

We are committed the value of diversity, to social justice, to liberal religious education, to mutual caring and support, and to acceptance and peace in our congregation, our community and to the world.
Many find Unitarian Universalism through discussion with neighbors and friends, reading magazines or books, searching the web or by taking quizzes at Beliefnet.com. We invite you to join us. You will be welcome at our table.

Yes! We welcome all people and celebrate diversity.  We value and respect individual differences. We know that families come in all configurations.
