MCC Annual Picnic September 12, 2009
JOIN US FOR THE ANNUAL MCC PICNIC! Join us for fun, food

The Annual Picnic will be held at Mel and Randi Neef's place on the Shenandoah River.
Mark your calendars 'cause you won't want to miss it!
When: Saturday afternoon, September 12, 2009
Time: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Where: Mel and Randi Neef's place on the Shenandoah River.
What to Bring: Bring covered dishes, salads, sides, and drinks.
The club will provide burgers, hot dogs, and buns.

Directions to The Neef's Place
Find WV RT 9 between Charles Town, WV and Leesburg, VA.
On RT 9 coming from Charles Town. Cross the Shenandoah and proceed over the ridge to Mission Rd. !!NOT!!! Mission Ridge Rd.!!!
Make a right on Mission Rd.
On RT 9 coming from VA RT 7 and the Leesburg area. Make a left on Mission Rd.
From everywhere...take Mission Rd to the one, and only, stop sign and make a right onto Gate 4 Rd.
Make an immediate left onto Shenandoah River Rd.
Follow Shenandoah River Rd. to its end at River Haven Dr. Go left on River Haven Dr.
After about 3/10 mile you will find a dirt drive that goes down to the river on your right. We will have a sign out at the top of the drive.
Go down the drive and park in the grassy area to the right of the drive. This is our neighbors lot, so try to avoid undue damage to the grass.
Picnic will be at river in wooded area to the left of the drive.
Our house is the brown one (except for one side that we have not repainted from red yet ;) and has a green metal roof. It is straight up from the wooded picnic area. You may enter the sliding side door and go straight to opposite wall to find the bathroom on your right.
While passing the parrotts on the way to the bathroom.....keep in mind that they DO BITE strangers.
Don't let outside cats in or inside cats out. Don't let dog out. |
