Hello:

Here you are, reading these words, as a result of either browsing or searching. To browse infers randomness. To search infers a deliberate quest. To search for God is not an uncommon quest. One of the places a person may search is in a church. We welcome you to "browse" or "search" not only our web site, but also our worship site.

Whether we are browsing, meandering without any particular destination, or searching, looking for something specific, the World Wide Web takes us on a journey. We go from one page to another. We back up, we start over, we get frustrated, we wait, we go through layer after layer after layer to get to what we want, and often discover it really is not what we thought it was. With a sigh, we hit the "back" button or the "home" button and try a different approach. There is so much information on the WWW that we cannot grasp the enormity of it all. And yes, there is a lot of falsehood. Still, we come back to the web time after time.

The search for God is exactly the same. It is a journey that takes us, step by step, from one place to another. And like the web, it is a journey that is full of twists and turns, and disappointments. But always it is a journey toward a goal. Sometimes we simply browse along, and sometimes we engage a search engine. We understand the WWW journey. We understand the frustrations, the twists and turns, the waits, the uncertainty of which way to go. If you can tolerate the web, you can tolerate the spiritual journey that is offered by this congregation. If you enjoy the serendipity of the web, you can enjoy the serendipity of the spiritual journey.

Browse our web site, then browse our worship site. If you would like to keep it electronic for awhile you can email us. Questions and comments are welcomed.
