Our Worship Style(s)

8 AM Holy Eucharist at St. Mark's Chapel

The 8:00 service is a "said" Eucharist. Periodically, we do have some musical instruments played such as the cello. The service is held at St. Mark's Chapel in Deale, MD. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate using Rite II. On the other Sundays we use Rite II. A sermon is offered each Sunday. The smaller chapel setting provides a family like feel.

9 AM Holy Eucharist, St. James' Church

The 9:00 service at St. James' Church is an informal contemporary Rite II Eucharist, featuring our Celebration and Youth Choirs. This service caters to families and young children. The first Sunday of every month is known as "Youth Sunday" where youth are engaged in leading the service including being ushers, greeters, lectors, and even preachers.

11 AM Holy Eucharist, St. James' Church

The 11:00 service at St. James' Church is a traditional Eucharist. On the first Sunday Rite I is used, however on all the other Sundays Rite II is celebrated. The 11:00 service includes the Senior Choir and the Men's Choir. Families are welcome at this service as well.
