Chicken Soup Ministry

The Chicken soup ministry is a pastoral care program which provides nourishing meals to our parish families in times of illness, surgery, hospital stays, new babies, or anytime when a need arises. The food is prepared and delivered by Parish volunteers of the committee. Prayer Chain Ministry

The Prayer Chain ministry responds to deaths, illness, surgery or family crises with an e-mailed prayer for an individual or family taken from the Book of Common Prayer or the New Zealand Prayer Book. It is sent to a list of parishioners by e-mail and copied to the person or people involved if their e-mail address is known. To join the chain, contact Val Hymes - valhymes@aol.com.


Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is is a pastoral care program which provides hand crocheted and knitted shawls, lap blankets and bears to individuals that my be experiencing some difficulty in their life, through illness, death, surgery, or hospital stays. They are also given to individuals celebrating special occasions in their lives such as the birth of a baby, marriage, and graduations. Lay Visitation Program

The Lay Eucharistic Ministry provides the Eucharist and a time for listening and sharing with home-bound or nursing home-bound parishioners who can no longer attend regular services at our parish churches. Volunteers from the parish regularly visit these persons. If you would like to volunteer to serve in this ministry or if you have persons to add to our visitation list, please contact the Rev. Bill Ticknor.
