Robert and JoAnne Mauck were inducted into the Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame in October 2005 and included in the state of Maryland's Blue Book. The state of Maryland was represented at the induction ceremony by Jean W. Roesser, Secretary of Aging. A total of 40 seniors were inducted for their continual volunteer service and community commitments. This was the 19th Annual Awards Luncheon for MSCHF. The luncheon was held at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Reverend Bert Lane, Pastor, Evangelical Lutheran Church, Urbana, Maryland, was the Maucks' guest at the induction ceremony.

At the 20th anniversary banquet in June 2004, Ms. Nancy Williams, Director, Religious and Volunteer Services, Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, presented Pastor Chad Kline with a citation from Governor Robert Ehrlich, commemorating the Community of St. Dysmas for its 20 years of service.
