Why do I write poems?
I write poems as a release, an outlet for feelings that well up inside of me.
I write poems to express myself and my feelings to others. Things that, because of the terrible shyness that I have yet to overcome, cannot be told through anything other than the written word.
I write poems because, without them, my mind would have snapped long ago. Without my poems, I would have popped like an overfilled balloon. Parts of me, parts of my heart, parts of my emotions would be scattered everywhere. Once you have passed that point, there is no turning back. The pieces can not be put back together.
If you're interested to know what's influenced my work, just take a look at this.
Do you:
- have any feedback?
- (not) like what I have written?
- understand what I am going through?
- know how it feels?
- know where I am coming from?
- have poetry of your own?
Are you just a kindred spirit, desperately searching for others like you?
