A Lutheran is a Christian who recognizes that we are saved by God through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.  A Lutheran recognizes and learns to live with paradox, in Scripture and in life.  We are saint and sinner at the same time.  Our salvation is a gift and is never earned.  Baptism (at any time in life) is our entry into God’s people.  We gather for worship and hear God’s Word and to receive the Body and Blood of Christ through Holy Communion.
