Sunday School
Classes for all ages are offered Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. September through May. Sunday School classes begin September 20, 2009. New this year will be opportunities for families to come Together in Faith as each children's class will include parents in a 2 or 3 week unit followed by an invitation for the children to share in worship something they learned at home with their parents.
Wednesday Evening Programs for the whole family (September through May)
5:00-5:15 p.m. Pizza (7th -12th grades - bring $3)
5:15-6:00 p.m. Teen Talk (Bible study for 9th - 12th grades)
   Confirmation (7th & 8th graes)
6:00-6:30 p.m.   Awesome Adventures-activites about worship (3yrs - 3rd grade)
    4th-6th Grade Youtherans
6:15-7:15 p.m. Adult Bible Study (year round)
6:30-7:00p.m. Youth Choir (5th - 12th grades)
6:30-6:45 p.m. Snack (3 yrs - 4th grade)
6:45-7:15 p.m. Cherub Choir (3 yrs - kindergarten)
   Junior Choir (1st - 4th grades)
7:30-8:00 p.m. Worship (year round)
Resources
To help equip families to pass on faith at home and in the community, we have a library/media center with materials for loan. We also feature recommended resources periodically as new materials come to our attention. To see our new list of recommended children's Bibles on the resource page. To support our library and raise funds for new materials we are selling the Easter Story Cube which brings the story of Easter alive in the hands and hearts of children as they unfold the cube.
Baptism & Splash!
Baptisms are arranged with Pastor Kathy Morris. Following infant baptisms families receive a monthly Splash! mailing with spiritual & physical developmental information.
First Communion
Classes for children ready to prepare to receive Holy Communion are held each spring and fall with Pastor Kathy Morris. The next opportunity to prepare for First Communionwill be in the fall. Contact Pastor Kathy Morris for more information.
Milestone Ministry
As another way to partner congregation with families, important milestones are celebrated as part of our life together. Some of the milestones we have celebrate include the anniversary of baptism (January), 1st Communion (spring & fall), High School graduation & Confirmation (May), entering Middle School & blessing backpacks to mark the start of school (August), entering Confirmation & receiving new Bibles (September).
Growing Spiritually
Our 5th and 6th graders will be recording their observations about developing a relationship with God through spiritual disciplines periodically from March through May.

FAMILY MINISTRY
