This area of my webpage is devoted to trading audio/video of some of my favorite bands. I was inspired to put a small part of my collection on the web with the intention of trading with other people because of (A) my desire for hearing live/rare recordings from my favorite bands, and (B) my lack of desire to pay bootleggers an outrageous amount of money for what usually is sub-par recordings without having the people who actually made or owns the rights to the music collect royalties or benefit financially. I must have spent as much on official records as I have on non-official ones for certain bands, which prompted me to get a CD-R drive and save money since the bands weren't benefiting anyway.

We all know the arguments for and against bootleggers, and I don't want to waste space here getting too philosophical. But, just so you know where I'm coming from, I've got a few simple rules:

1. Under no conditions will I accept any money for any of these recordings.
2. I do not want CD-R's with gaps in between the tracks (only disc-at-once.)
3. It's Y2K: CD-R's only- No tapes. I don't even own a tape deck so don't ask.
4. I will NOT make available any recordings which are/were an official release for the band in question and who may still collect royalties. This goes for "out of print" or "hard to find" recordings as well; please don't ask me for a copy of something like Sylvian and Fripp's Damage for example. I will be more than happy to describe it and discuss it, but no copies will be made, period.
5. I will NOT accept a copy of an existing recording which was officially released by the band. I will accept originals of legitimate materials though, with as much complete packaging as you may have (i.e. original booklet intact, etc.)
6. I would like to keep it a "one for one" swap. If you want 5 of mine, I'll ask for 5 of yours, etc.

What am I primarily looking for? Basically anything from the bands that I've got listed here which I don't have, and related bands I may not own (i.e. Porcupine Tree, IQ, etc.) Special bonus points for Genesis and Marillion

For the nosey, the equipment I use: Apple iMac (Rev B) with the Formac iProTV SCSI card, Yamaha 4416SXZ CD-R/W drive, and Adaptec's Toast and Jam software.
