Proposal to install backup power system in cooperation with Atlantic Solar Products.
G&S mechanical services proposes to install system purchased from Atlantic Solar Products and provide all necessary equipment not provided by Atlantic Solar Products.
To our understanding Atlantic Solar Products will supply the following items:
Trace power panel which includes 3624 DR inverter.
( 3600 watts 24 volt input modified sine wave output with battery charging and auto switching capability), Or Trace SW4000.
Trace disconnect box with circuit breaker and 4/0 AWG leads to connect to batteries.
(2) Square D transfer switches one to bypass inverter and one to select between the power grid and a generator,
Trace transformer. This transformer will step up the 120 vac (rms.) output to 240 vac (rms.) for operating the deep well pump motor,
Batteries as specified by Atlantic Solar Products and all the necessary battery terminal connections and a temperature sensor for the batteries to tell the inverter how to charge the batteries at different temperatures.

G&S Mechanical will supply the following :
Labor to install all components listed or purchased by G&S mechanical, transportation of equipment from Atlantic Solar Products,
mechanical  supports for inverter power panel and other components,
load center for backup circuits, load center for deep well pump that will allow switching from inverter to grid or generator, controls for well pump to prevent automatic switching to backup power preventing accidental discharge of battery system,
mechanical supports for batteries to allow servicing, insulated cover
( wood or plastic ) to prevent accidental shorting of terminals, all necessary electrical connections to connect load centers and Power panel that are not supplied by Trace Engineering or Atlantic Solar Products.
Circuit, conduit, mounting box, transfer switch  and inlet for generator.

G&S Mechanical will warranty all field (non factory) electrical connections and any control circuits that we build or install for one year from date of install. All other warranties will be provided by manufacturers or Atlantic Solar Products.
G&S Mechanical will not be responsible for specifications and limitations of any equipment that we did not field build. However we will make every effort to advise customer of any known problems and limitations. For example the electronic control box for the deep well pump may not be friendly to the modified sine wave output of the Trace DR inverter and would have to be replaced with a conventional potential relay at a nominal additional cost.

Materials (in addition to those supplied by Atlantic Solar Products):
Load center (breaker panel) of same manufacturer as existing panel (Cutler Hammer).
 14 to 20 slots.
Additional (5) circuit breakers for sub panel (Cutler Hammer)
Conduit to connect emergency panel to two existing panels. One 10 ft. length of  1-1/4 and one  10 ft. length of 1 inch
Conduit connectors and bends to connect conduit to panels and accessories
Conduit clamps .
Transfer switch to select well pump from inverter to grid/generator (provided by either G&S Mechanical or Atlantic Solar Products)
Transfer switch to select inverter to grid/generator (provided by either G&S Mechanical or Atlantic Solar Products)

30 ft. length of #12 AWG wire for branch circuits
10 ft. lengths of #6 AWG wire for neutral.
4x8x3/4 indoor plywood.
(4) 1x2 furring strips for mounting plywood
10 1/2" concrete anchors to anchor plywood to wall
#12 wood screws to fasten accessories to plywood
Plastic anchors to fasten auxiliary boxes and conduit clamps to concrete that are not fastened to plywood.
20 cement blocks to elevate batteries off of floor to facilitate servicing
1/2 of 4x8x1/2" plywood to sit on cement blocks to support batteries and absorb any acid leaks.
1/2 of 4x8x1/2" plywood to cover batteries to prevent shorting by tools and other objects.
Hinges for plywood lid.
