Proposal to remove existing R500 non operating open belt drive compressor and drive motor and replace with Carrier 06DH8186AA0-500 Semihemetric R22 Compressor with 50% suction unloader.
Parts that need to be replaced or changed include:
 Thermostatic expansion valve.
 High and low pressure controls
 Flanged service valve on receiver/ condenser
Parts that are required but missing include:
 30 Amp 3 pole Square D bolt in breaker
 Oil pressure safety control
 Liquid line sight glass
 Liquid line filter dryer
 
 
 
 
 

Parts that are included with new compressor:
 Mounting plate.
 Mounting springs
 Mounting bolts
 Suction and discharge valves
 Crank case heater (120 volt)
 3 Phase motor (240 volt 3 phase)
Labor includes:
 Removal of old compressor and motor, rigging of old compressor up stairs to be picked up as a core, rigging of new compressor down stairs to be installed, rigging of old motor from mounting to storage in closet.
 Replacement of flanged service valve on condenser, installation of liquid line sight glass and liquid line filter dryer, all necessary refrigerant piping and checking for leaks, new thermostatic expansion valve ( 8 ton ), new oil failure safety control, new pressure controls with manual high pressure reset, mounting brackets for pressure controls.
  All necessary wiring for controls including any additional wiring needed for new controls to work and replacement of any damaged wiring does not include checking, servicing, or replacement of any thermostatic controls or any controls except those listed.
  Installation of new 40 amp circuit breaker for new compressor, connecting existing power wiring to new compressor and checking of motor rotation, checking or replacement of motor overload heaters in starter box.
 Connection of crankcase heater to 120 volt existing circuit including additional wiring and connection but not installation of crankcase heater on existing compressor.
 Charging of system with R22 at $9.50 a pound, any refrigerant loss due to work done by us will be covered at no charge for 1 year of completion. While we will make every effort to locate any leaks we cannot be responsible for any leaks in any part of the system that we did not work on, or any concealed leaks such as condenser or evaporator coil.
 While we will make every effort to locate and identify any problems, damage or leaks. We are not responsible for loss due to equipment failure, acts of nature, concealed damage, bad power (reversed rotation caused by electrician or utility), outside tampering, removal or disabling of recommended safety equipment, failure of other related equipment such as pumps, relays, contactors, starters, and electric power to auxiliary equipment.

 Customer is responsible for cost of all materials.
Price of labor to install all items listed above $1750.00  minus $55 for ASAP labor to move new compressor including travel and time spent purchasing and moving of materials. (assuming removal of old compressor from basement to ground level).
 Payable upon completion of job.
