CISA Review Course Description:  Most CISA Review Course registrants will already have registered for the CISA exam and received study materials prior to taking the review course.  As the review course is shorter than most (3-day vs. 5-day), it is more of an overview format of each domain with a daily quiz by section.  For those who have been studying the CISA Review Manual and taking the CISA practice exams, it allows them to ask the instructor for explanations for incorrect answers during one-on-one time.

For those, who haven’t found time to study, the CISA review course is designed to give them a jump start to focus their studying and provide a forum to connect with other local exam takers.  The scheduling for the review course ensures that there is at least one month prior to the CISA exam date.

The CISA Review Courses that Mandem Consulting offers are some of the best aids in studying and preparing for the exam. The course briefly reviews the major areas as described in the ISACA CISA Bulletin of Information, which includes recent Information Systems technology developments. Specifically, the course will cover the exam’s following areas:

  •     The IS Audit Process (10%)
  •     IT Governance (15%)
  •     Systems and Infrastructure Lifecycle (16%)
  •     IT Service and Support (14%)
  •     Protection of Information assets (31%)
  •     Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (14%)

The CISA review course includes a CD-ROM of the presentation and a hardcopy index of the slides to take notes on.  Laptops can be brought to class to address any concern about reading the projected slides.  Class size is limited to 22 registrants. A CD of over 1,000 questions and answers is included.
