Thanks to everyone in the congregation (and some friends of the congregation) who donated all the items to furnish the apartment for a homeless client through Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services (LARS). A special thank you to all those who volunteered their time, trucks and muscle to move everything into the apartment on Saturday, January 9th. The whole project only took about 4 hours.
Take a look at the pictures of the items that were picked up from the church, the apartment as we were setting things up and the finished product. I think the gentleman that moved into his new home is very happy!
