Holy Trinity’s Youth Ministry exists to PRAISE God and TEACH the Gospel as we SHARE God’s love, SERVE others and ENJOY being together in Christ. (S.T.E.P.S.)
Our Youth Ministry encourages young people in 6th-12th grade to develop a closer relationship with one another and with Jesus through special opportunities for fellowship, service, prayers and education.

Beginning in October, our regular “Pray & Play” gatherings will be
held on the third Sunday of the
month. Pastor Tom will lead a
devotional series called "Faith in
Our World." It will continue to
look at the relationship between
our faith and the culture.
The first youth retreat of the year
will be FreeRide, the DE-MD
Synod middle school event at Camp
Letts in Edgewater, MD from
Friday to Sunday, Oct 19 – 21. This
year’s theme is “Chr1st: We Are All
One – One in Christ”. Registration
deadline is Sept
19.

Some of the many Youth-centered activities include:
Youth Yahoo! Group
Life Together – a monthly devotional time to grow in Bible and Prayer.
Youth Congress – a weekend event in Harrisburg, PA for Middle School , or Virginia Beach, VA for High School, where the Youth gather with hundreds of others to sing, dance and praise the Lord.
Road Trip – sponsored by Delaware-Maryland Synod, large group events for Middle and High School youth.
Work Camp – yearly week-long service opportunity. Camps have close by and as far away as Tennessee.
ELCA National Youth Gathering occurs every three years. In 2006, the youth gathered with thousands of other senior high Lutherans in San Antonio, Texas during the July 4th week.
Elizabeth House – the 4th Tuesday of the month, youth join the church adults to serve dinner to the needy.
Thanksgiving Baskets and Christmas Presents are gathered for families in need in the local community.
Fundraisers Galore to support trips and gatherings. Silent Auction, spaghetti suppers, bake sales, Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and others. Individuals may buy STOCK in our youth which provides them with special opportunities throughout the year (for example, ice cream sundae party)
