Small Groups Ministry
"where two or three are gathered in my name..." Matthew 18:20
Small group ministries are designed around individual interests with the goal of deepening relationships between and among members. Small group ministries are varied and we are always open to starting new ministries as requested and needed.
Men's Fellowship - Men from 18-80, of varying race, nationality, and socioeconomic status gather from 7:30- 9 am the second Saturday each month for a hearty breakfast, conversation, prayer and Bible study. Some come every moth while others are able to come only occasionally. Some speak freely of their struggles and concerns and wonder aloud where God is in their lives. Others openly share their faith, certain of God’s promises and blessings. All come seeking to grow in their faith life and deepen their relationships with one another.
Helping Hands - ministry grows out of the Men’s Fellowship. Supporting one another by providing the manpower for moves, home projects, church projects, and wherever help is needed, the Help Hands are always appreciated by those they serve.
Book Discussion Group - gathers monthly to discuss a work of literature. Books may be fiction or non-fiction, with a spiritual message or just for enjoyment. The group selects the book to be read. For meeting times, contact the church office.
Couple's Group - meets at each other’s homes usually around a food theme like Italian or Bar-b-que, etc. A notebook on the counter of the Welcome Center contains upcoming events and sign up. New couples are always welcome.
Crafter's Group - meets periodically to share ideas and enjoy one another’s company while they work on various craft projects. Call the church office to find out when they’re getting together again.
In-home Bible Study - there are three groups meetings regularly in homes and new groups are always welcome to start. Some meet every week; others meeting for a 6-week session, take time off, and meet again. There is no expected pattern. Host a Bible study or join one already meeting.
Ballroom Dancing - this group meets monthly for instruction and dance time. Come as a single or couple, experienced or inexperienced. Call the church office for the next chance to dance.
