Occupational Therapist/COTA -Annapolis

Teacher
Bachelor's degree in special education, elementary education, secondary education or other relevant field, with MSDE professional certification in special education. (1-8, 6-adult, K-12) If the teacher holds a Maryland Conditional Certificate, the teacher must complete the requirements determined in the evaluation completed by the Maryland State Department of Education/Certification Branch.

Assistant Teacher
Bachelor's degree in elementary education, secondary education, special education, psychology or human services field or Bachelor's degree in relevant field with relevant experience. Experience with children, particularly children with learning or emotional problems preferred.

*Occupational Therapist/COTA
Experience with SI preferred. A Maryland OTR or COTA license is required.

Clinical Social Worker
Master's degree in social work, licensed clinical social worker preferred. Experience with children and adolescents with learning and emotional problems. Experience in a special school setting preferred.

Speech and Language Therapist
Master's degree in Speech and Language clinical work. Bachelor's degree in communication disorders and/or speech therapy eligible for conditional certificate. Experience in field placement working with children between the ages of 6 and 12. Job experience in a school setting preferred. Knowledge of local, state and federal requirements for the delivery of special education and related services in a self-contained setting.

Transition Specialist
Bachelor's degree in human services field. Experience with middle and high school aged students, experience with children with learning and emotional disabilities preferred. Experience with people with disabilities. Demonstrated ability to work with business owners, managers, government administrators and others in private enterprise.

Testing Coordinator

This is a part time position two days per week, with flexibility during testing required. Current certification in special education with a minimum of five years’ experience, as well as knowledge of MSDE testing program required.

Behavioral Specialist
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Two years within a classroom and experience with positive behavioral management required.

Job Coach
The ability to be flexible and have reliable transportation a must. Experience with people with learning disabilities and/or job training preferred.

Behavioral Assistant

A BA degree preferred with experience working with special needs students required.

Food Service Professional
Experienced food service professional to instruct entry level cooking and catering skills to high school students.

Vocational Assistant - Landscaping
This is a full time position for an experienced landscaping professional, teaching entry level llandscaping skills to high school students. A high school diploma is required, and an AA degree is preferred. Experience with people with learning disablilities and/or job training is also preferred.

Director of Development The Harbour School has campuses in Owings Mills and Annapolis. Successful candidate should have experience with working with major donors, event planning, annual fund raising, and media coordination. Salary is competitive with good benefits. Individual will be based in Owings Mills and will need to be in Annapolis at least one day per week.
