Going Green: November 8th & 15th from 10:15-11:15 am we will be taking family pictures for our on-line church directory.  At that time you will have the opportunity to review your current directory information and make necessary changes. For those with Internet access, you can follow our progress by going to our church website (www.toad.net/~emmanuel/) and clicking on the ÒChurch DirectoryÓ link.  Click on ÒopenÓ and when prompted enter the password (emmanuellc).

Advent Event:  Plan to join us on Sunday, November 29th after the late service in the fellowship hall.  A light lunch will be provided.  Please sign up at the information desk and bring a small dessert to share.  A free will offering will be taken at the event to defray the cost of food and craft supplies.

Annual Meeting & Luncheon mark your calendars now and plan to join us on Sunday, November 22nd at 9:00 am. There will be only one service that day and NO Sunday School classes.  The annual meeting will take place in the sanctuary immediately after the worship service followed by a potluck luncheon in the fellowship hall.  A-L bring appetizers or desserts and M-Z bring side dishes.  Council provides main dishes & drinks.  Plan to attend and join the decision making process.

St. Andrews Episcopal Church has asked Emmanuel to partner with them in the Arundel House of Hope (AHH) ÒWinter Relief ProgramÓ. December 7-14 St. Andrews will provide overnight lodging. They need volunteers to help with the cooking, serving breakfasts, bag lunches, transporting the guests back to the AHH Day Center in Glen Burnie & back to St. Andrews in the evenings.  Contact Charles Crowl (410-255-9102).

Sunday School Christmas Program: December 20th at 6:30 pm.  Most rehearsing will take place during Sunday School hours, however, there will be two important Saturday morning rehearsals at church.  Everyone in the cast must make at least one of the two Saturday practices December 12th & 19th, 10-12 pm.
