This process uses the entire leaf not just the gel from the filet, because the plants rind also contains many substances such as additional enzymes that are not present in the gel housed in the filet. It is also important to note that Aloe 5000 is a single strength, non-concentrated Aloe Vera. Concentrated Aloe is not desirable because it has been exposed to harmful levels of heat, thus breaking down the long chain Mucopolysaccharides and as a result creating an inferior product. Our goal in the development of Aloe 5000 was to create a non-concentrated product that has no less than 5000 Mucopolysaccharides per liter, thus creating one of the finest Aloe Vera product available to the commercial market to date.
