PHILOSOPHY
Asbury Community Christian Clubhouse has been established to help children develop physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually within a Christian environment. It offers the opportunity for staff and students to develop a sense of extended family as a group.

SPONSOR
ACCC is an extended care program sponsored by Asbury United Methodist Church. Enrollment to the Clubhouse is open to children of all religious backgrounds. ACCC does not practice discrimination based upon race, color, or national origin in the admission of children or the employment of staff.

PROGRAM
The program includes outdoor play and organized games, a variety of table games, arts, and crafts, music, and opportunities in creative expression, science and nature. Opportunities will be given for children to take responsibility for planning and carrying out their own activities.

LOCATION
ACCC is located in the lower level of the Education Building of Asbury United Methodist Church. The Clubhouse entrance is on Joyce Lane.

SERVICES
ACCC offers a program of extended care to children in kindergarten - 7th grade and is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Clubhouse follows the Anne Around County Public School calendar and will be open on scheduled teacher workdays, late openings, and early dismissals. If due to weather conditions there is a late opening or early dismissal, Clubhouse will be open. Children attending Arnold Elementary School will be walked to and/or from school by an adult. Those children who attend the middle school there is a bus stop at the corner of Sheridan and Church Road. Snack is provided to kindergarten and PM extended care children. Children must provide their own lunch on days when schools are closed and Clubhouse is open.
