  FROM THE PASTOR’S PEN

  Growing into 2006!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

The new year is now upon us and there are new things happening in our midst! We look ahead in the coming year to new things happening as we continue to move ahead raising funds for the “renewal” of our worship facilities. Please continue to pray about this endeavor. We are on a journey of faith together following our Lord who leads us into paths of his righteousness. As we travel on we are always growing while we draw near to our Savior at the Table and the Service where he feeds us. A life of growth is what you and I are called to in our Christian lives. And so in order to grow in this coming year refreshment and nourishment will be necessary. God calls us to grow always feeding on his good word that strengthens for this journey. God’s word is as food and drink to us. Let us receive that food more and more as we worship regularly and find time to pray and read the Bible in our day to day...

After welcoming many new members in 2005 we look forward to welcoming more new members in our worship service on January 15th with a reception to follow. Let us continue to pray for our church family and for those who are becoming a closer part of that family. The Lord cause us all to grow in the Faith of Jesus Christ that he so freely gives!

We are the Lord's new creation and have been entrusted with so many blessings. May we use them together for the Lord and for those that we serve in our community!
