• Allan R. Andrews is a former editor of Pacific Stars and Stripes in Tokyo, Japan.  He also reported for The Boston Globe, The Raleigh (N.C.) News & Observer, and The Muncie (Ind.) Star.  In 1996, he was awarded a top prize for general column writing in small newspapers by the National Society of Newspaper Columnists.  He now teaches high school at the Annapolis Area Christian School in Maryland and is a freelance writer.  His poem, "Adoption," appears in the July, 2001, issue of Theology Today, published at Princeton University.  He can be contacted at arandrews@toadmail.com
